A histogram shows the distribution of colors in an image. In Flash Player, a bitmap s histogram is provided for each of the four channels individually. It returns a Vector of Vectors of Numbers in other words, four histograms, one for each channel, each with 256 frequencies, indicating the number of pixels found in the bitmap with the corresponding brightness.
